Join OSM Thome as Chief Cook onboard an offshore PSV in Luanda, Angola. You will be responsible for preparing tasty and nutritious meals for the crew, keeping the galley safe and clean, and managing food stores efficiently.
- Key responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare daily meals for officers and crew
- Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic galley and pantry
- Manage food stocks, ordering and proper storage
- Follow all safety, hygiene and company procedures
- Cater for special diets when required
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Chief Cook onboard offshore vessels
- Valid seafarer documents and medical certificates
- Good knowledge of galley safety and food hygiene standards
- Ability to plan menus and manage provisions
- Good English communication skills
