We are looking for a dedicated 4th Engineer / Junior Engineer to work on board a chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional engine team, helping to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliary engines and all engine room equipment
• Carry out routine checks, watchkeeping duties and record-keeping in the engine room
• Support planned maintenance and repair work as instructed by senior engineers
• Follow all safety and pollution prevention procedures and company guidelines
• Assist with bunkering operations and engine room inventories

Requirements

• Valid 4th Engineer / Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) license and STCW certificates
• Experience on tankers, preferably chemical tankers, is an advantage
• Good knowledge of engine room systems and basic troubleshooting
• Fit for duty with valid medical and relevant offshore/sea-going documents
• Good English communication skills and a strong safety mindset
