Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer (2/E) on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will be a key part of the engine department, supporting safe and efficient vessel operations across global routes.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief Engineer in running and maintaining all engine room machinery and systems
• Plan and carry out routine maintenance and repairs on main engine, auxiliaries, and related equipment
• Monitor engine performance, fuel consumption, and report any abnormalities
• Ensure safe engine room operations in line with company and international regulations
• Maintain engine room logs, records, and planned maintenance system
• Supervise and guide junior engine room crew

• Requirements:
• Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2) CoC for seagoing vessels
• Recent experience as 2/E on bulk carriers preferred
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
• Good English communication skills
• Strong teamwork, safety mindset, and hands-on approach in the engine room
