We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer for bulk carriers trading worldwide. Join OSM Thome and take full responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the engine department.

• Key responsibilities:
• Oversee operation and maintenance of all engine room machinery and equipment
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance and repairs
• Ensure safe, efficient and economical vessel operations
• Lead, train and supervise engine room crew
• Maintain engine room records, logs and reports
• Ensure compliance with class, flag, company and safety regulations

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer license for seagoing vessels
• Recent experience as C/E on bulk carriers
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
• Strong knowledge of engine room systems and maintenance
• Good leadership, communication and safety mindset
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
