Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer on an offshore multipurpose vessel in Taiwan. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Engineer in daily engine room operations and maintenance
• Monitor and record performance of main engine and auxiliary machinery
• Carry out planned maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ensure engine room equipment is operated safely and efficiently
• Supervise engine room ratings and support safe work practices
• Follow all company and flag state safety and environmental procedures
• Assist with bunkering operations and fuel/oil checks as required
• Maintain accurate engine room logs and reports

Requirements

• Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2) license, STCW compliant
• Previous experience as 2/E, preferably on offshore or multipurpose vessels
• Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates
• Good knowledge of engine room systems and planned maintenance
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
• Availability Beg March / One time contract
