Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional deck team, supporting safe navigation, cargo operations, and overall shipboard routines.

• Key responsibilities:
• Stand navigational watch as OOW, ensuring safe passage at sea and in port
• Plan and monitor voyages, update charts and publications (paper/ECDIS)
• Assist with cargo operations, draft/trim calculations, and stability
• Support safety drills, ISM/ISPS procedures and bridge equipment checks
• Assist Chief Officer with deck maintenance and documentation as required

• Requirements:
• Valid II/1 Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch CoC (or higher)
• Experience as 2/O or OOW on bulk carriers preferred
• Valid STCW certificates, medical and seafarer documents as per flag/IMO
• Good English communication skills
• Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to learn
