Join OSM Thome as Medic on board a pipe-layer vessel, trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the medical care of all crew and support a safe working environment offshore.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first aid, emergency treatment and routine medical care to all personnel on board
• Maintain and manage the vessel’s medical facilities, equipment and medicines
• Keep accurate medical records and reports in line with company and flag state rules
• Support health, hygiene and sanitation standards throughout the vessel
• Assist with HSE matters, drills and emergency response as required

Requirements

• Qualified Medic, Nurse or Paramedic with valid offshore/remote medical training
• Previous offshore or marine experience preferred
• Valid offshore medical certificate and required vaccinations
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a multicultural crew and under demanding offshore conditions
