Join OSM Thome as a Fitter on crude oil tankers trading worldwide. Work with an experienced crew, keeping the vessel’s structure and machinery in safe and reliable condition.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out steel repairs, welding, cutting and fabrication as instructed by the Chief Engineer
• Assist with maintenance of hull, pipelines, tanks and deck fittings
• Support engine room and deck teams with repair and maintenance jobs
• Follow safety procedures, hot work and permit-to-work systems at all times
• Maintain tools, welding equipment and workshop in good order
• Requirements:
• Sea-going experience as Fitter on tankers preferred, crude oil tanker experience an advantage
• Strong skills in welding, gas cutting and basic fabrication
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
• Good command of English for work and safety communication
• Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to work worldwide
