OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Ordinary Seaman to serve on chemical tankers trading worldwide. If you are a hardworking seafarer with tanker background and a strong safety mindset, we invite you to sail with us.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
• Carry out deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
• Handle cargo hoses, lines and fittings under officer supervision
• Perform lookout duties and assist on bridge when required
• Follow all safety procedures, especially for chemical cargoes
• Support emergency drills and safe working practices on deck

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
• Previous experience on chemical or product tankers preferred
• Valid tanker familiarization / advanced tanker certificates as applicable
• Valid medical certificate and seaman’s book
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for deck work, safety-minded and willing to work in a team
