Key responsibilities

• Assist deck officers and Bosun with daily deck operations and maintenance
• Carry out chipping, painting, cleaning and general upkeep of deck and accommodation
• Handle mooring lines and assist in berthing and unberthing operations
• Keep lookout on bridge and perform helmsman duties as instructed
• Support cargo operations as directed, following all safety procedures
• Follow company safety rules and take part in drills and trainings

Requirements

• Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman and basic safety training
• Experience on tankers preferred; chemical tanker experience is an advantage
• Valid seafarer medical certificate and seaman’s book
• Good English communication skills
• Team player with a strong safety mindset and willingness to learn
• Ready to work worldwide on a rotational contract
