OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) for product tankers trading in India, the Middle East and Europe. Sail with a professional fleet and support safe and reliable vessel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic systems onboard
• Monitor and troubleshoot automation, control and communication systems
• Support safe cargo and ballast operations from an electrical/automation side
• Carry out planned maintenance and keep proper technical records
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company procedures

Requirements

• Valid ETO CoC and all mandatory STCW certificates
• Recent seagoing experience as ETO on product or chemical tankers
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
• Good English communication and teamwork skills
• Medically fit for sea service
