  • Project: Semi-Submersible Heavy-Lift Crane Vessel.
  • Location: Worldwide.
  • Rotation: 165/30 days on/off or 56/28 days on/off.
  • Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated Monthly salary.
  • Duration: 12 months (renewable).
  • Contract Start: TBC.
  • Insurances: Provided by the company.
  • Employer: Our client, a drilling and construction contractor.


Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Demonstrated background working as a plumber in offshore or marine environments.
  • Proven ability to independently identify plumbing faults and assess corrective actions.
  • Solid knowledge of pipe systems used on heavy marine vessels, including high-pressure lines.
  • Skilled in estimating materials, spare parts, and consumables prior to execution of work.
  • Hands-on experience with installation, upkeep, and replacement of pipework components.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and permit-to-work systems offshore.
  • Capable of working in confined spaces and variable sea conditions.
  • Minimum English proficiency level B1 (spoken and written).


Tasks:

  • Inspect vessel plumbing systems to locate leaks, blockages, or performance issues.
  • Install and replace piping, fittings, valves, drains, and sanitary fixtures as required.
  • Carry out routine servicing of freshwater, wastewater, and drainage systems.
  • Prepare material take-offs and report required consumables before maintenance activities.
  • Perform corrective repairs during operations with minimal disruption to vessel activities.
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with onboard safety and operational standards.
  • Document completed work and report outstanding issues to the engineering team.
