Join OSM Thome as a 2nd Engineer on a bulk carrier trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional engine team, helping to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently on board.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and equipment
• Carry out planned maintenance and repair of main engine, auxiliaries, and relevant systems
• Monitor and record engine performance, fuel and lube oil consumption, and machinery parameters
• Supervise engine room crew during daily operations and maintenance tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company procedures at all times
• Requirements:
• Valid 2nd Engineer (Unlimited) CoC, STCW certificates and seafarer documents up to date
• Previous experience as 2/E on bulk carriers preferred
• Good knowledge of engine room systems, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Good English communication skills, both spoken and written
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work well within an international crew
• Candidate must hold valid COC/COP
• Prefers with valid US Visa
• Candidate must have experience in ME Engine type
