OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Master (CPT) for a bulk carrier trading worldwide. Take full command of the vessel and lead a safe, efficient and compliant operation across global trades.

Key responsibilities

• Overall command of vessel, crew, cargo and navigation
• Ensure safe navigation and compliance with international rules and company procedures
• Oversee cargo operations, stability, draft and trim
• Lead and manage the crew, including training and performance
• Maintain high standards of safety, security and environmental protection
• Liaise with owners, charterers, agents and authorities
• Keep all required logs, records and reports updated

Requirements

• Valid Master Mariner CoC, unlimited
• Proven experience as Master on bulk carriers
• Strong navigational and shiphandling skills
• Good knowledge of ISM, ISPS and international regulations
• Good English communication skills
• Candidate must have experience in Bulk carrier with crane
• Candidate should at least have LOG experience
• Must have valid STCW certificate including Updating BT PSSR Training
• Must have US Visa
