Join OSM Thome as Fitter on board a container vessel trading worldwide. You will be part of the deck and engine crew, helping keep the vessel, machinery and equipment in safe and efficient working condition.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out steel repairs, welding, cutting and basic fabrication work
• Assist Engine Officers with maintenance of machinery and pipelines
• Maintain deck fittings, handrails, ladders and construction in good order
• Perform hot work and repairs in accordance with safety procedures
• Support general maintenance and repair jobs as directed by senior officers

• Requirements:
• Previous experience as Fitter on seagoing vessels, preferably container ships
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
• Strong welding and metalwork skills (arc, gas, cutting and basic fabrication)
• Good safety awareness and ability to work in a team
• Basic English communication skills
