3rd Engineer (3/E) – Container Vessel – Liberia Flag

**Description**
3rd Engineer required for Container Vessel under Liberia flag, trading worldwide. Joining port: Singapore. Candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in rank on similar vessel type.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist Chief and 2nd Engineer in safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of assigned systems
- Monitor and record engine room parameters, fuel and lube oil consumption, and machinery performance
- Ensure proper operation of auxiliary engines, purifiers, pumps, and related systems
- Follow company and vessel safety procedures, including permit to work and lock-out/tag-out systems
- Maintain engine room cleanliness and good housekeeping
- Assist during bunkering, drills, inspections, and port state / class visits

**Requirements**
- Valid STCW Engineer Officer license appropriate for 3rd Engineer position
- Minimum 1 year experience as 3rd Engineer on seagoing vessels (preferably container vessels)
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety training certificates as required for the rank
- Valid seafarer medical fitness certificate
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Familiar with PMS (Planned Maintenance System) and engine room reporting procedures
- Able to work in a multinational crew and follow shipboard safety and operational procedures
