Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on an offshore pipe-layer vessel in Brazil. You will be part of the engine department, supporting safe and efficient operations of all machinery and equipment.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and engine room equipment
• Perform planned maintenance, routine checks and troubleshooting of machinery
• Monitor fuel, lube oil, cooling water and other engine room systems
• Keep engine room logs and records up to date
• Follow safety procedures and support safe working practices at all times

• Requirements:
• Valid 3rd Engineer CoC (STCW) suitable for the vessel type
• Previous experience as 3/E or 4/E on offshore or similar vessels preferred
• Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for offshore work, with valid medical and relevant offshore certificates as required
