Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on an offshore cable-layer trading worldwide. You will be part of the engine team, helping to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently to support subsea cable operations.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist in operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines, generators and all engine room equipment
• Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting as directed by senior engineers
• Monitor engine room parameters and report any faults or abnormalities
• Keep engine room, workshop and related spaces clean, safe and well organized
• Follow company safety procedures and participate in drills and toolbox talks
• Maintain proper records, logs and reports for all assigned equipment

• Requirements:
• Valid 3rd Engineer (STCW III/1 or higher) license
• Previous seagoing experience as 3/E or 4/E, preferably on offshore or DP vessels
• Valid STCW basic certificates and medical fitness
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a mixed-nationality team
