Ablebodied Seafarer (AB) on Car Carrier

**Description**
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Ablebodied Seafarer (AB) to serve on a car carrier trading worldwide under the Marshall Islands flag. Joining port will be in China. The AB will work as part of the deck crew to ensure safe and efficient deck and cargo operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform mooring and unmooring operations safely
- Assist with navigation watchkeeping as lookout and helmsman when required
- Carry out routine deck maintenance, painting, and cleaning
- Handle lashings and securing of vehicles and cargo
- Assist in ballasting, bunkering, and other shipboard operations as instructed
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills and emergency duties
- Keep deck areas, equipment, and gear in good order

**Requirements**
- Minimum 1 year sea service as AB or equivalent deck rating experience
- Valid AB deck certificate and basic STCW safety training as per flag/state requirements
- Experience on vehicle carriers or similar cargo vessels preferred
- Medically fit for sea service as per international standards
- Good command of working maritime English
