OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Cook to serve onboard a car carrier trading worldwide. You will be in charge of the galley, preparing good and safe food for an international crew and keeping a clean and well-organized working area.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Plan menus and prepare daily meals for officers and crew
  • Manage food stores, ordering, and stock control
  • Ensure hygiene and cleanliness in galley and provision stores
  • Follow all safety and sanitation rules onboard
  • Work closely with the Master and Chief Officer on catering budget and crew needs
• Requirements:
  • Previous sea service as Chief Cook on cargo vessels (car carrier preferred)
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
  • Good knowledge of international and Asian cuisine
  • Strong focus on food safety and galley hygiene
  • Ability to communicate in English and work with a multinational crew
