• Salary: L1 EUR 12,792, L2 EUR 14,315 . Consolidated monthly salary.
• Duration: 12 months (renewable).
• Contract Start: ASAP.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Offshore experience on drillships, preferably in deepwater operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of drill floor equipment and systems.
• Strong mechanical awareness of hoisting, rotating, and pressure-control interfaces.
• Ability to interpret drilling parameters and respond to changes in real time.
• Understanding of well barriers, emergency shutdown procedures, and safety protocols.
• Physically fit for rotational offshore work in high-noise, high-motion conditions.
• Valid offshore medical, survival, and well-control certifications relevant to the Assistant Driller role.
• Clear communicator capable of taking direction and making decisions under pressure.

Tasks:

• Support the Driller in overseeing drill floor operations on the drillship.
• Monitor drilling trends and identify irregularities before they escalate.
• Assist with pipe handling and equipment positioning to maintain smooth workflow.
• Perform routine equipment checks and support operational system transitions.
• Verify readiness of well-control and pressure-containment systems prior to operations.
• Aid in troubleshooting drilling systems during non-routine events.
• Enforce offshore worksite safety protocols, permit-to-work, and isolation requirements.
• Temporarily assume the Driller’s responsibilities when delegated, following all procedures.
