OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be responsible for safe and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic systems on board.

• Key responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor and maintain all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot automation, control, navigation and communication systems
• Carry out planned maintenance, fault finding and repairs on deck and in engine spaces
• Ensure safe operation of high-voltage systems and compliance with class and company standards
• Keep accurate maintenance records and reports
• Support the engine and deck teams during cargo, bunkering and other critical operations

• Requirements:
• Valid ETO CoC meeting STCW requirements
• Recent sea service as ETO on oil and/or chemical tankers
• Strong experience with marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Valid STCW safety certificates and valid medical fit for sea service
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work well with an international crew
