The Engine Mechanic supports the engineering team in maintaining and repairing all
mechanical systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation in accordance with maritime regulations
Responsibilities and/or tasks:
- Maintenance and repairs of engine room equipment
- Support machinery monitoring and inspections
- Identify and report mechanical problems, followed maritime safety and environmental regulations
- Participate in emergency drills while maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Marine engineering or mechanical vocational training.
- Mechanical maintenance experience (marine industry preferred).
- STCW Basic Safety Training.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts and demanding engine room conditions.
- Health certificate type
- Experience in similar positions on cruise vessel will be advantage
