3rd Engineer (3/E) – Car Carrier – Marshall Islands Flag – Worldwide Trading
Joining Port: North Europe
**Description**
3rd Engineer for a car carrier under Marshall Islands flag, trading worldwide. Candidate must have strong engine room experience, including PCC operations and dual fuel systems.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliary engines and related machinery
- Monitor and maintain dual fuel systems in line with IGF Code requirements
- Support safe and efficient engine room watchkeeping
- Perform planned maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical and auxiliary systems
- Ensure compliance with company, flag state and international regulations
- Maintain engine room records, logbooks and reports
- Assist in bunkering and fuel handling operations as required
**Requirements**
- Valid STCW III/1 3rd Engineer CoC or higher, valid for Marshall Islands endorsement
- Minimum 1 year sea service as 3rd Engineer or equivalent rank on seagoing vessels
- Proven PCC (Pure Car Carrier) experience
- Dual fuel engine experience
- Valid STCW certificates, including:
- Basic IGF Code (New IGF Basic)
- Advanced IGF Code (IGF Advance)
- Valid medical certificate (fit for duty at sea)
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Available to join in North Europe on short notice
