Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on a car carrier trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional engine team, keeping the vessel’s machinery running safely and efficiently on all voyages.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine and auxiliaries
• Carry out routine engine room rounds and inspections
• Perform planned maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
• Monitor fuel, lube oil, and other consumptions and report to seniors
• Keep engine room logbooks and records up to date
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company and flag rules

• Requirements:
• Valid 3rd Engineer CoC (STCW) for seagoing vessels
• Previous experience as 3/E under Car Carrier or Container vessels or strong background as 4/E on ocean-going ships
• Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates, medical and passport
• Good English communication skills, written and spoken
• Team player with a hands-on, safety-minded approach
