• Key responsibilities:
• Assist Chief Engineer in safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and systems
• Plan and carry out routine maintenance and repairs on main and auxiliary engines and equipment
• Monitor engine performance, fuel and lube oil consumption and keep accurate engine room records
• Supervise and guide engine ratings in daily engine room duties
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and pollution prevention procedures
• Support bunkering operations and engine room readiness for port state and class inspections

• Requirements:
• Valid STCW CoC as 2nd Engineer (III/2) for motor vessels
• Recent experience as 2/E on Oil/Chemical Tankers
• Good knowledge of tanker operations and safety procedures
• All mandatory STCW certificates and valid medical fitness
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in a mixed-nationality crew
