Key responsibilities

• Overall command of the vessel, crew and cargo
• Ensure safe navigation, voyage planning and watchkeeping
• Maintain compliance with international and local regulations
• Oversee cargo operations, stability and seaworthiness
• Lead safety culture, drills and emergency preparedness
• Manage crew performance, discipline and onboard training
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting and communication with office

Requirements

• Valid Master (Unlimited) CoC for seagoing vessels
• Recent experience as Master on bulk carriers
• Candidate must have experience in Bulk carrier with crane
• Candidate should at least have LOG experience
• Must have valid STCW certificate including Updating BT PSSR Training
• Must have US Visa
• Strong leadership and ship handling skills
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Clean employment record and strong safety mindset
