• Key responsibilities:
• Overall command of the vessel, crew and cargo
• Ensure safe navigation and ship handling in all conditions
• Oversee cargo operations for vehicles and related units
• Maintain compliance with flag, class, company and international regulations
• Lead and mentor officers and crew, promoting a strong safety culture
• Manage shipboard documentation, reports and communication with shore
• Requirements:
• Valid Master Mariner (Unlimited) CoC
• Recent experience as Master or Chief Officer on car carriers or Ro-Ro vessels
• Strong navigational, leadership and ship management skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Valid STCW certificates, medical and other mandatory documents
• Fit for worldwide trading and long sea voyages
