Join OSM Thome as 3rd Officer on a car carrier trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional deck team, supporting safe navigation, cargo operations and upkeep of the vessel.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Assist with safe navigation, watchkeeping and voyage planning
  • Carry out cargo watch and support loading and discharging of vehicles
  • Maintain and update charts, publications and navigational equipment
  • Assist with safety drills, inspections and ISM/ISPS routines
  • Support deck maintenance and upkeep of safety and life-saving equipment
• Requirements:
  • Valid 3rd Officer (OOW Deck) license meeting STCW requirements
  • Previous experience on car carriers or RO/RO vessels preferred
  • All mandatory STCW certificates and valid seafarer medical
  • Good English communication skills
  • Team player with a strong focus on safety and compliance
