Chief Officer (C/O) – Chemical Tanker – Worldwide
**Description**
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Officer for a Marshall Islands–flagged chemical tanker, trading worldwide. Joining port: Rotterdam.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Master in safe and efficient vessel operations
- Plan and supervise cargo operations, including loading, discharging, and tank cleaning
- Carry out and supervise wall wash procedures and cargo tank inspections
- Handle and supervise soft chemical cargo operations
- Manage deck crew and ensure safe working practices
- Maintain deck and cargo equipment, including coated cargo tanks
- Oversee stability, ballast operations, and cargo documentation
**Requirements**
- Valid C/O license for chemical tankers (STCW compliant)
- Minimum 1 year sea time as Chief Officer on chemical tankers
- Proven experience with coated cargo tanks
- Proven experience with wall wash procedures
- Experience handling soft chemical cargoes
- Valid tanker and chemical tanker endorsements
- Able to join in Rotterdam and serve worldwide trade
