Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on a chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional engine team, keeping vessel machinery and equipment in safe and efficient working order.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief and 2nd Engineer in operating, monitoring and maintaining all engine room and auxiliary machinery
• Carry out routine checks, planned maintenance and basic troubleshooting on main and auxiliary engines, pumps, purifiers and other systems
• Maintain proper engine room logs, records and reports as required
• Follow onboard safety procedures and pollution prevention rules at all times
• Support bunkering, fuel transfers and other engine-related operations as instructed

• Requirements:
• Valid 2nd Engineer license with tanker / chemical endorsements as required
• Minimum 1 year of pure sea time in rank 
• Previous sea service as 3/E or 4/E, preferably on chemical or product tankers
• All certificates up to date and in line with STCW and flag requirements
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in an international team
