OSM Thome is looking for a skilled Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to serve on oil/chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board, supporting safe cargo and vessel operations.

• Key responsibilities:
• Operate, maintain and repair all electrical, electronic and automation systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot power generation and distribution equipment
• Maintain navigation, communication and cargo control systems in good working order
• Carry out planned maintenance, fault finding and emergency repairs
• Ensure all work complies with safety rules, class and company standards
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records

• Requirements:
• Valid ETO CoC and STCW certificates in line with rank
• Experience as ETO on oil/chemical tankers preferred
• Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
• Good command of English, written and spoken
• Fit for sea service with valid medical certificate
• Team player with a safety-first attitude and hands-on approach
