OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to sail on oil/chemical tankers worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems onboard, supporting safe cargo and ship operations.

• Key responsibilities:
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all electrical and electronic equipment, including power generation and distribution systems
• Handle automation, control, navigation and communication systems
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of cargo control and monitoring systems
• Carry out planned maintenance and keep accurate records
• Support the Master and Chief Engineer in all safety and emergency procedures

• Requirements:
• Valid ETO CoC and all required STCW certificates
• Experience as ETO on oil and/or chemical tankers
• Good knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
• Good English communication skills and a strong safety mindset
• Experience with ME engines
