Set sail with OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a RORO/ROPAX vessel trading in the North Sea. We are looking for a reliable and safety-minded deckhand who enjoys steady work, teamwork, and life at sea.

• Key responsibilities:
• Carry out mooring and unmooring operations safely
• Assist with cargo and vehicle handling on RORO/ROPAX decks
• Stand lookout and steer the vessel as directed by the officer on watch
• Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and greasing
• Take part in safety drills and follow all safety procedures
• Assist with gangway watch and passenger/crew safety on deck

• Requirements:
• Valid AB certificate and seaman’s book
• STCW certificates in line with rank (including basic safety training)
• Previous experience as AB, preferably on RORO/ROPAX or similar vessels
• Good English communication skills
• Medically fit for sea service
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team
