Join OSM Thome as 2nd Engineer on an Oil/Chemical Tanker. You will work closely with the Chief Engineer and engine team to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently, supporting smooth and safe vessel operations.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist the Chief Engineer in daily engine room operations and maintenance
• Monitor and operate main engine, auxiliaries, and other engine room machinery
• Carry out planned maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Ensure safe engine room practices and compliance with company and flag state rules
• Maintain engine room logs, records, and reports
• Assist with bunkering operations and fuel/lubricant management
• Support ISM, ISPS, and onboard safety, health, and environmental procedures

• Requirements:
• Valid 2nd Engineer (Motor) CoC, meeting STCW requirements
• Recent experience as 2/E on Oil/Chemical Tankers preferred
• Valid STCW basic and advanced tanker certificates
• Valid medical certificate and seafarer documents as per international standards
• Good English communication skills, spoken and written
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork mindset
