OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to serve on an Oil/Chemical tanker. If you are confident with electrical and electronic systems at sea and want a stable, professional workplace, this could be your next contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain and repair all electrical and electronic equipment onboard, including power generation and distribution systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot automation, control, navigation and communication systems.
  • Ensure safe operation and maintenance of high-voltage equipment where applicable.
  • Carry out planned maintenance and keep accurate records in accordance with company and class requirements.
  • Support the engine and deck teams with technical issues related to electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills and safety meetings.

Requirements

  • Valid ETO CoC, meeting STCW requirements.
  • Recent experience as ETO on tankers, preferably Oil/Chemical.
  • Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems.
  • Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates as required for tanker service.
  • Good command of English, spoken and written.
  • Fit for duty with valid medical certificate.
