OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to work on an offshore pipe-layer trading worldwide. You will be responsible for safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board, supporting day-to-day deck and engine operations.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Operate, monitor and maintain all electrical, electronic and automation systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair faults in power generation, distribution and control systems
  • Maintain DP, navigation, communication and positioning equipment together with relevant officers
  • Carry out planned maintenance and keep accurate technical records
  • Ensure safe work practices and compliance with class, flag and company standards
  • Assist during mobilization, demobilization and offshore operations as required
• Requirements:
  • Valid ETO CoC and offshore medical
  • Solid experience as ETO, preferably on offshore construction or pipe-layer vessels
  • Strong knowledge of high-voltage, DP and automation systems
  • Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Safe working attitude and ability to work in a multicultural crew
  • All mandatory STCW and offshore certificates up to date
