Electro Technical Rating (ETR) – Oil/Chemical Tanker – Worldwide

**Description**
ETR required for oil/chemical tanker trading worldwide under Singapore flag. Responsible for assisting with operation and maintenance of all electrical and electronic equipment onboard, ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems
- Support upkeep of power generation and distribution systems
- Assist in maintenance of automation, alarm and monitoring systems
- Support safe operation of cargo handling and deck electrical equipment
- Carry out routine inspections and report defects to senior officers
- Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems

**Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years seagoing experience as ETR or similar rank
- Previous oil/chemical tanker experience
- Valid STCW certificates relevant to rank and vessel type
- Valid US visa suitable for seafarers
- Good English communication for shipboard operations
- Fit for duty as per marine medical standards
