Join OSM Thome as Assistant Storekeeper on a passenger ferry in Europe. In this role, you will support the Storekeeper in keeping all stores and provisions well organized, properly recorded, and ready for daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, checking, and storing provisions and spare parts
- Keep store rooms clean, safe, and properly arranged
- Update stock records and report shortages to the Storekeeper
- Support in issuing items to departments as requested
- Follow company procedures for inventory control and storage
Requirements
- Previous experience in stores, logistics, or similar shipboard role preferred
- Basic knowledge of shipboard operations on passenger or ferry vessels
- Good English communication skills
- Attention to detail and good organization skills
- Valid seafarer documents and fit for duty at sea
