Join OSM Thome as Temporary Chief Engineer (C/E) on an offshore multipurpose vessel in Taiwan. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on leader who can take full charge of the engine department and ensure safe, reliable and efficient vessel operations on a short notice.

Joining Date ASAP

• Key responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for operation and maintenance of all engine room and mechanical equipment
• Plan, supervise and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Lead, train and manage the engine room crew
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with company procedures, class and statutory regulations
• Monitor fuel, lube oil and spare parts consumption and maintain proper records
• Support vessel operations during offshore activities and DP/positioning work as required

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer license (unlimited, STCW compliant)
• Previous sea service as C/E, preferably on offshore or multipurpose vessels
• Good knowledge of engine room systems, planned maintenance and safety procedures
• Valid STCW certificates and offshore medical fitness
• DP Maintenance K-Pos is needed
• Available to join ASAP in Taiwan and willing to work in an international crew
