Join OSM Thome as 1st Cook on a passenger ferry in Europe. You will be responsible for preparing tasty, well-balanced meals for crew and passengers, keeping a clean galley, and following all safety and hygiene rules on board.
- Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook daily meals according to menu and diet needs
- Plan food orders and manage stores to avoid shortages and waste
- Maintain high standards of galley hygiene and cleanliness
- Follow HACCP and vessel safety procedures at all times
- Work closely with galley and service crew to ensure smooth operations
- Requirements:
- Experience as Cook or 1st Cook on passenger vessels or ferries
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
- Good knowledge of food safety and galley routines
- Ability to work in shifts and under time pressure
- Good English communication skills
