Join OSM Thome as 1st Cook on a passenger ferry in Europe. You will be responsible for preparing tasty, well-balanced meals for crew and passengers, keeping a clean galley, and following all safety and hygiene rules on board.

  • Key responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook daily meals according to menu and diet needs
  • Plan food orders and manage stores to avoid shortages and waste
  • Maintain high standards of galley hygiene and cleanliness
  • Follow HACCP and vessel safety procedures at all times
  • Work closely with galley and service crew to ensure smooth operations
  • Requirements:
  • Experience as Cook or 1st Cook on passenger vessels or ferries
  • Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness for sea service
  • Good knowledge of food safety and galley routines
  • Ability to work in shifts and under time pressure
  • Good English communication skills
