Join OSM Thome as an Able Seafarer (AB) on a passenger ferry operating in Europe. You will be part of the deck crew, helping to keep the vessel safe, clean and ready for passengers every day.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Assist with mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
  • Stand deck watch and lookout as directed by the Officer on Watch
  • Carry out maintenance on deck, including chipping, painting and cleaning
  • Handle gangways, lifeboats and other deck equipment safely
  • Support safe passenger operations, including embarkation and disembarkation
  • Follow all safety procedures and take part in drills and inspections
• Requirements:
  • Valid AB deck certificate and seafarer documents as per STCW
  • Previous experience as AB, preferably on passenger or ferry vessels
  • Good command of English, spoken and written
  • Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to work in a rotation at sea in European waters
