Join OSM Thome as a Crane Operator (CRO) on an offshore cable-layer working worldwide. You will be part of a professional deck and offshore team, handling lifting operations to support safe and efficient cable work.

Key responsibilities

• Operate offshore cranes safely during deck and over-side lifts
• Support cable-laying and deck operations as directed by the bridge and deck officers
• Carry out pre-use checks, routine inspections, and basic crane maintenance
• Follow all lifting plans, permits, and HSE procedures
• Communicate clearly by radio with deck crew and bridge during operations
• Assist with general deck work when crane operations are not ongoing

Requirements

• Proven experience as Offshore Crane Operator (CRO) on DP/offshore vessels, preferably cable-layers or construction vessels
• Valid Crane Operator / Stage 2 or 3 (or equivalent) offshore crane certificate
• Valid offshore medical and required safety/sea survival certificates
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a multinational crew
• Fit for offshore rotation and worldwide trading
