Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) on an Oil/Chemical Tanker. Work with an experienced crew, keep the vessel safe and seaworthy, and build your career in tanker shipping.

• Key responsibilities:
  • Assist deck officers and Bosun with daily deck operations and maintenance
  • Carry out mooring, anchoring, and cargo handling duties as directed
  • Wash, chip, scrape, and paint decks and fittings
  • Stand lookout and assist on bridge watch when required
  • Follow safety procedures, especially for tanker and cargo operations
  • Support emergency drills and safe working practices at all times
• Requirements:
  • Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) certificate and basic STCW training
  • Tanker (Oil/Chemical) familiarization or tanker endorsement preferred
  • Valid seafarer medical certificate and travel documents
  • Good English communication skills
  • Previous sea service on tankers is an advantage
  • Fit, safety-minded, and ready to work in a team on deck
