Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) onboard a HAFNIA PRODUCT oil/chemical tanker trading worldwide. You will be responsible for the safe and reliable operation of all electrical and electronic systems onboard, supporting safe cargo and vessel operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical, electronic, and automation systems
- Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on power generation and distribution systems
- Look after navigation, communication, and cargo control equipment
- Support engine and deck teams during operations, repairs, and inspections
- Ensure all work complies with safety rules, class, and company standards
- Requirements:
- Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) license and STCW certificates
- Tanker experience, preferably on product or chemical tankers
- Strong background in marine electrical, electronic, and automation systems
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for worldwide trade and able to work in an international crew
- ME engine experience.
