- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and repair all electrical and electronic equipment on board
- Support safe and reliable operation of power generation and distribution systems
- Maintain automation, cargo control, and monitoring systems for tanker operations
- Carry out fault finding, troubleshooting, and planned maintenance
- Keep accurate maintenance records and follow safety procedures at all times
- Work closely with the Master, Chief Engineer, and deck/engine teams
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO license and relevant STCW certificates
- Previous experience as ETO on oil and/or chemical tankers preferred
- Good knowledge of marine electrical, electronic, and automation systems
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently on board
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- ME Engines experience
