Join OSM Thome as a Senior DPO on an offshore pipe-laying vessel operating in Trinidad and Tobago. In this role, you will take a leading part in vessel positioning, offshore operations and bridge watchkeeping to ensure safe and efficient project execution.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the DP system during all pipe-laying and offshore operations
• Plan and execute vessel moves in close coordination with the Master and Offshore Team
• Maintain safe bridge watch and ensure compliance with company and project procedures
• Assist with voyage planning, risk assessments and toolbox talks
• Keep DP records, logs and checklists up to date and accurate
• Support training and mentoring of junior DPOs and bridge team members

Requirements:

• Valid STCW II/1 or II/2 Deck License
• Full DP Certificate with solid experience as SDPO
• S-lay experience
• Previous experience on offshore construction or pipe-lay vessels
• Strong knowledge of DP systems, offshore field layouts and marine safety
• Good spoken and written English
• Fit for offshore work and willing to work in a rotation system
