Join OSM Thome as Chief Officer on a worldwide trading chemical tanker. We are looking for an experienced and safety-minded deck officer ready to take a key role in cargo and deck operations and support the Master in the safe and efficient running of the vessel.

• Key responsibilities:
• Lead deck team in all deck and cargo operations
• Plan and supervise loading, discharging and cargo care for chemical cargoes
• Ensure safe navigation and watchkeeping as per company and international regulations
• Maintain and update deck and cargo documentation and records
• Oversee stability, ballast operations and cargo calculations
• Lead safety drills, trainings and implementation of company SMS and ISM requirements
• Coordinate maintenance of deck equipment and cargo gear

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Officer license (unlimited) meeting STCW requirements
• Recent experience as C/O or strong 2/O experience on chemical tankers
• Valid chemical tanker (advanced) endorsement
• Strong knowledge of cargo operations, tank cleaning and safety procedures
• Good English communication skills
• Fit for duty with valid medical and all mandatory certificates
