Join OSM Thome, IWS as Chief Cook (C/C) on a Service Operation Vessel (SOV) operating offshore Denmark. You will be responsible for providing good, wholesome meals to the crew and ensuring a clean and safe galley at all times.

  • Key responsibilities:
    • Plan menus and prepare daily meals for crew and officers
    • Order, receive and control food stores and galley supplies
    • Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation and minimising waste
    • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in galley and storerooms
    • Follow all food safety and HSE procedures on board
    • Support a positive onboard environment through good, timely catering service
  • Requirements:
    • Previous experience as Chief Cook or Cook at sea, preferably on offshore vessels
    • Valid seafarer documents and medical fitness certificate as per STCW
    • Recognised cook/catering certificate
    • Good knowledge of safe food handling and galley hygiene
    • Ability to work independently and manage stores and menus
    • Good English communication skills
