Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on an Oil/Chemical Tanker. Take full charge of the engine department, secure safe and efficient operations, and support a strong safety culture onboard.

• Key responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the engine department and engine room crew
• Ensure safe, efficient operation and maintenance of all machinery and equipment
• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Monitor fuel, lube oil, and spare parts consumption and inventory
• Ensure compliance with class, flag, company, and international regulations
• Prepare engine-related reports and keep engine room documentation up to date
• Support safe cargo and bunkering operations from the engine side

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer (III/2) CoC for seagoing vessels
• Recent experience as C/E on Oil/Chemical Tankers
• Strong knowledge of tanker operations, safety, and environmental rules
• Very good command of English, spoken and written
• Good leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Medically fit for sea service as per international standards
