Join OSM Thome as a Crane Operator (CRO) on an FPSO/FSO unit offshore Brazil. You will work as part of the deck and marine team, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations to support daily offshore activities.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate offshore cranes safely for cargo, equipment and personnel lifts
- Plan and execute lifting operations in line with company and offshore standards
- Carry out pre-use checks and routine inspections of cranes and lifting gear
- Coordinate with deck crew, bridge and control room during all lifting operations
- Keep lifting areas clean, safe and ready for operations
- Report any defects, incidents or near misses immediately
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as Crane Operator (CRO) on FPSO/FSO or offshore vessels
- Valid offshore crane operator certificate (API, OPITO or equivalent)
- STCW documents and medical fitness for offshore work
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team on rotating shifts
